The celebration of the Persian New Year features an array of Middle Eastern/Central Asian Food, Amir Vahab, Traditional Persian Musician, Modern Middle Eastern/Central Asian Dance Music. On Tuesday, March 13 at 4 pm in Roscoe West 202, Dr. Mark Beissinger (Ph.D., Harvard), Professor of Political Science at Princeton University, award-winning author of books on Russian politics, will give a talk analyzing the Russian presidential election, the civil unrest in Russia, and the role of technology in the creation of a civil society in Russia: ”The Rise of Russian Civil Society: Virtual or Real.”
